The Trump administration is proposing to impose an additional 25 percent import duty on approximately 1,300 goods from China in response to a Section 301 investigation concluding that China is coercing U.S. companies into transferring their technology and intellectual property to Chinese enterprises. Affected companies now have a very limited time to seek changes to this list and prepare for the impact of the new tariffs. In addition, China is proposing to retaliate in kind against U.S. exports.
Join us for a 30-minute webinar that will review the affected products (including steel and aluminum, machinery, and motor vehicles), when the tariffs might take effect, and steps you can take to protect your interests. We will also examine the items that could be affected by China’s retaliatory tariffs.
