Aphis Requiring Additional Data Elements

As of January 25th, additional APHIS data was required for release of products subject to the agency’s jurisdiction. This was the first of a two-phase enforcement of additional filing requirements, the second of which will be enacted on March 25, 2021. CBP issued a CSMS message to the trade. We may be requesting additional data for APHIS-regulated commodities because of these additional filing requirements.
